What is Cafecitos / ELAC?
Cafecitos is a place for community members, parents/guardians, staff, and students to discuss opportunities of resources within South Lake Tahoe and provide an opportunity to speak with school site representatives.
ELAC meeting focus on parent input into site and district policies and actions.
Cafecitos and ELAC meeting are held in person at the Family Resource Center
Elementary Cafecitos / English Language Advisory Committee (ELAC)
Cafecitos is held every Wednesday at the Family Resource Center from 8:30am - 9:30am.
Sierra House Elementary ELAC meetings are every first Wednesday of each month from 9:30am - 10:30am.
South Tahoe Middle School ELAC
Cafecitos is held every Wednesday at the Family Resource Center from 8:30am - 9:30am.
South Tahoe Middle School ELAC meetings are every second Wednesday of each month from 10:30am - 11:30am.
South Tahoe High School ELAC
Cafecitos is held every Wednesday at the Family Resource Center from 8:30am - 9:30am.
South Tahoe High School ELAC meeting are every fourth Wednesday of each month from 9:30am - 10:30am.
District English Learner Advisory Committee (DELAC)
District English Learner Advisory Committee meetings will take place at least two times per year, in the fall and the spring with the purpose of sharing information relevant to English Learner families and receiving input from English Learner families.
