Lake Tahoe Unified School District offers a variety of social emotional, behavioral and mental health services and resources for students and families who may benefit from support due to, but not limited to anxiety, school avoidance, suicidal ideation, changes in the family, mental health challenges, grief, loss, and or trauma. Our school site counseling teams are trained in providing school-based Counseling (Individual/Group), social-Emotional Learning (SEL), threat Assessment (Suicidal Ideation or Violence Prevention), crisis Response (Traumatic event within the school or community), and referrals to community resources.
